Adapted from the novel by Jorge Ibargüengoitia, who based his own story on the real life events surrounding the murderous González Valenzuela sisters, this Netflix series set in 1960s Mexico focuses on Arcángela and Serafina Baladro (played by Arcelia Ramirez and Paulina Gaitan, respectively). The sisters become big names in the brothel business and eventually turn into stone cold killers to keep their crime empire running.
