From Danish filmmaker Kristian Levring (The King is Alive) comes The Intended (2002), a dark thriller set in the 1940s. Sarah (co-writer Janet McTeer) and her boyfriend, Hamish (JJ Field), travel to Malaysia to work at an ivory trading post. Hoping for an exotic getaway, the couple instead finds a jungle hellhole that becomes unlivable once a drought occurs. Fortunately Janet's natural wonder jugs are enough to keep the audience's mouth watering.
