In The Misfits (1961), recently divorced Rosyln (Marilyn Monroe) decides to recover from her heartbreak by going to the country to be comforted by Gay (Clark Gable) and Guido (Eli Wallach). Its smooth sailing for the sly sexpot until Gay and his visiting friend Perce (Montgomery Clift) both try to lasso the full-figured fox. When Ros learns that all the men around her plan to catch wild horses (misfits) to turn them into dog food, dealings with this pretty filly can no longer be tamed.
