Sexy: The Wedding Banquet 2025 Sexy Scenes

A remake of Ang Lee’s breakout 1993 film, Fire Island director Andrew Ahn works with original screenwriter James Schamus to create a modern romantic comedy about the friednship between two queer couples: Angela (Kelly Marie Tran) and Lee (Lily Gladstone), and Chris (Bowen Yang) and Min (Han Gi-Chan). Chris and Min have ben living together in Seattle for five years, but their cozy life is disrupted when Min’s grandmother Ja-Young (Oscar winner Youn Yuh-jung) - who he is afraid to come out to - demands he stop farting around on his student visa working on a dissertation he’ll never finish and come work for the family business in South Korea. Obviously, he wants to stay with Chris, so he comes up with a plan to marry Chris’ college bestie Angela in order to get a U.S. green card and, in return, he’ll help her partner Lee get pregnant by paying for another round of IVF treatment. It’s foolproof - until Ja-Young pays a surprise visit to Seattle to meet Angela and throw the happy couple a lavish wedding. The closest we get to nudity is a shower scene with Lily where she unfortunately loses a pregnancy, but we can’t see where she lost her layers because the camera only shows from the shoulders up. There is a nice (though fully clothed) make out moment between Lily and Kelly on a couch as well, but as far as skin goes, this film is more of a snack than a banquet.
