Netflix’s four-part mini series based on the real-life events in the East Midland town of Corby stars English babes Jodie Whittaker and Aimee-Lou Wood as just two out of a whole group of mothers whose babies were born with health complications due to local negligence. It seems that after the shuttering of the local steel plant in 1979, all the toxic waste wasn’t disposed of properly by the private company hired to do so, and instead it contaminated the whole town. As the truth starts to come out, the mothers’ case is taken up by a lawyer (Rory Kinnear) who helps them fight against the Corby Borough Council for knowingly poisoning their residents during a legal battle that ultimately stretched from 1995 to 2009. Definitely not the sexiest of circumstances, but there is at least one light moment when the former Doctor Who star strips down to her matching bra and panties for some impromptu couch sex. Looks like the Doctor is Skin!
