Trancers 4: Jack of Swords (1994) was arguably the worst film in the Trancers until 5 and 6 came out. Even Tim Thomerson didn't come back for 6, and that's really saying something. In this one, Jack (Thomerson) goes back to the future likely because they were done holding out hope that Helen Hunt would return to the franchise.
