Set in Ireland, the crime drama Trojan Eddie (2006) follows Eddie (Stephen Rea), a small town ex-con, who works for John Power (Richard Harris), a resourceful businessman. The one time criminal makes a living with the assistance of John’s nephew, Dermont (Stuart Townsend) by peddling junk from a van. It seems as though selling is what Eddie does best. Trouble arises when John marries Kathleen (Aislín McGuckin), Dermont’s girlfriend. On top of everything, Eddie, in his nagging ambitions, plans to steal John’s wedding cash to start his own business.
