Using fragmented storylines and a southern rap soundtrack, the downbeat gang drama Weapons (2007) begins with the violent murder of a gangbanger named Reggie (Nick Cannon) and then works backward to explain all the interrelated sequences of events that took place over one weekend in a small town that inevitably led to the tragedy.
