Yakuza kannon: iro jingi (1973), or Yakuza Goddess of Mercy: Mistress Jingi, is a Japanese drama about a monk who helps a pregnant woman (Nozomi Yasuda) give birth to her son. In exchange, she agrees to marry him and let him raise her son as a monk, and at first, everything is peaceful for the makeshift family, but once a vicious band of Yakuza killers find out where the missing woman has ended up, they come looking for her... with a vengeance!
