Now considered one of the living legends of the Mexican screen, Ana Luisa has made over 216 films since 1954--which includes some pioneering early nudity, like when she played a nude model for a mustached sculptor in La Diana cazadora (1957), also known as "Call Me Bad." After one more topless shot in Corrupción (1984), Ana Luisa hung up her hanger showing boots, and stopped corrupting the minds of Mexican youth with her body. Her last acting role came in a 2014 episode of Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi TV show. While American audiences may never have gotten familiar with Ana Luisa, Mexican cinephiles are very familiar with the abundance of erotic cinema with which she's been involved. It takes guts to be one of the first ever actresses in your country to take your clothes off onscreen.
