Whoever invented beauty pageants deserves a handshake (assuming you have a free hand after watching all of those bathing suit processions). Thanks to said events, dazzling dolls (such as the Great White North’s April Telek who reigned as Miss Canada) are plucked from obscurity and raised to a high prominence so their sexy presence can be seen by the masses. Where else can a lovely lass find such praise? You (and April) guessed it, the motion picture and television industry! It didn’t take long for the blonde ingénue to exchange her pageant role to play Blonde Singer, Bikini Girl, Sexy Girl, Receptionist, and Flight Attendant in plenty of productions. April might think it would be all uphill after making her film debut in Downhill Willie (1995), but the bulk of her work was in B movies such as Bounty Hunters 2 (1997) which featured her white Briefs and Bare Breasts. Perhaps that’s what the Bs stand for! Ironically, April portrayed a B movie actress in the Canadian drama Amazon Falls (2010), wherein she struts her stuff in skimpy skivvies. But not before popping up in the Jean Claude Van Damme action thriller Replicant (2001). Throughout her career, the boob tube babe made many TV movies and appeared on several shows (Aliens in America, The Outer Limits, The Immortal, Millennium, and Dead Man’s Gun). We especially appreciate her guest spot in The Hunger (2000) since it reveals her rump and rack. In other words, April puts the super naturals into the supernatural series!
