Biography
Carman Silvera was a Canadian-English actress best known for playing Edith Melba Artois in the hit BBC comedy ’Allo ’Allo. She’d been acting on the boob tube since the ’60s, making her debut in the British soap opera Compact and a couple of episodes of Doctor Who. Though she was taken too young by lung cancer, she did manage to show off those lungs in the sexual romp Sex Clinic (1971) and the drama Two Women (1973). Rest In Peace, Carmen.
