Blonde and busty Inger Stevens had a bitingly bittersweet stint in skinema. This Swedish sexpot caught the eye (and fly) of co-star Bing Crosby in her film debut, Man on Fire (1957). Inger enflamed Bingle’s dingle with such a tingle that they carried on a lusty affair until she refused to change religions for the Catholic crooner. Dejected but seemingly cheery, Stevens used her perky can-cans to score the lead on the popular series The Farmer’s Daughter (1963-1966), raising crops of bones with her earthy allure. No wonder, her performance picked up a Golden Globe Award! After hooking up with more married men off screen, Inger brought her hard knocks knowledge and her hardy knockers to the big screen in the appropriately titled A Guide for the Married Man (1967) where she showed off her fab figure in a see-through negligee, slinky bikinis and a skintight leotard perfect for workouts. In 1968, she lent her sexy presence to the crime dramas Madigan and House of Cards (1968). Ms. Stevens wrapped up her movie career with In a Dream of Kings (1969) wherein her sweetish meatballs bubbled over in an ill-equipped over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. Once her affair with co-star Anthony Quinn fizzled, Inger sizzled on the small screen in an episode of The Most Deadly Game (1970). We were hoping for more swinging '70s action from Inger, but sadly, it would be her final appearance since the bombshell died shortly after. She was only 35 but she leaves behind a stunningly sexy legacy in skinema.
