Jean Simmons Sexy

Few actresses racked up as many classic roles as Jean Simmons. She played Ophelia opposite Laurence Olivier in Hamlet (1948) and starred with Kirk Douglas in Spartacus (1960). She gets nude but doesn't show her partsacus in a skinny dipping scene. Damn that Hays Code! Jean was also a stunning vision in Black Narcissus (1946) and an earthy sex symbol in Guys and Dolls (1955) and Elmer Gantry (1960). The film legend had a rough transition during the ’60s, though, as she took years off between credits like The Grass Is Greener (1960), All the Way Home (1963), and Life at the Top (1965). At least Jean tried to change with the times by changing into a sheer nightie in The Happy Ending (1969), showing off some impressive breastage. She even received an Oscar nom for that near-nude role! Jean didn't work much during the ’70s, either. Her only feature films from that decade are Say Hello to Yesterday (1971), Mr. Sycamore (1975), and Dominique (1979). The rest of her credits are TV fare like The Odd Couple, Hawaii Five-O, and The Dain Curse. Thankfully Ms. Simmons had a career resurgence in the '80s and won an Emmy for her performance in the miniseries The Thorn Birds. She acted regularly throughout the '90s and '00, appearing in the English version of Howl's Moving Castle (2004) among other projects, before passing away in 2010. Although she never got naked on screen, Jean’s an Old Hollywood icon who keeps us feeling young in our pants.
