Fifteen years as a model in Europe and Asia brought Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, female Jenna Gering to television’s doorstep, making her first appearance as Sasha Graves on, what else? Baywatch in 2000. She nabbed a couple of small parts in the films The Elite (2001) as Karen with Jason Lewis and Robin Givens, and as Traci in Firetrap (2001) with Dean Cain and Lori Petty, before landing the recurring role of stripper Kristen Moore in NYPD Blue. Providing a taste of saccharine-free sugar for the station-house Romeos, Jenna enlivened the final three episodes of NYPD's 2001 season with light-footed, clothing-light pole work that ensured the force would be with her—especially The Ricker, aka Ricky Schroder, who was especially smitten with her kind eyes and intelligence. Though mostly a TV kinda gal, the actress did take one more turn in a feature film, the family-friendly Just for Kicks (2003), starring the Sprouse twins Cole and Dylan, and Tom Arnold. On television, she romped with David Keith, Vanessa Angel, and Josh Holloway in the TV movie Sabretooth (2002) as Casey; and played with the supernatural as Rebecca Weaver in Phantom Force (2004) with Richard Grieco. Gorgeous hair, fab body, and pretty face, she also toured multiple TV series from 2002 through 2012 as a one-hit wonder, including MDs, Two and a Half Men, LAX, Complete Savages, Las Vegas, Joey (how you doing?), Out of Practice, The King of Queens, CSI: NY, Quarterlife, and Castle, as well as the role of Anna in the mini-series Bent (2012), which surprisingly had a lot of famous names involved, including Amanda Peet, David Walton, Joey King, Jeffrey Tambor, Jesse Plemons, Marcia Gay Harden, and Michaela Watkins. It seems that wherever Jenna appears, it’s a party.
