When Jill Hennessy first came onscreen, we thought we were seeing double since she starred opposite her real life twin sister Jacqueline in the amazing thriller Dead Ringers (1988). Once the rising starlet went solo and parted from her sis, we could concentrate solely on her as she offered a slip of the nip in the action series Counterstrike (1990). While playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid on the legal drama Law & Order (1993-1996), the busy babe also showed her cinematic range in films such as Robocop III (1993) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). By 2001, she appeared in the Steven Seagal flick Exit Wounds and received a Satellite Award for her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy in the miniseries Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot. Amid alluring turns in the melodrama Row Your Boat (1998) and the short-lived series Luck (2012), the sartorial stunner donned a black bra and matching briefs in the dramedy Love In the Time of Money (2002) and paired short-shorts with a bikini top in the drama Lymelife (2009). Yet Ms. Hennessy is best known for NBC’s popular series Crossing Jordan (2001-2007), on which she portrayed a sexy medical examiner. Talk about playing with stiffies! Since then, the pretty performer co-starred in the crime series City on a Hill (2019) with Kevin Bacon. We just wish there were six degrees of separation between this modest actress and her clothing! Still, like the delicious cognac with which Ms. Hennessy shares a name, we can only imagine this lady goes down smooth!
