Once you pop, you can’t stop. That was the one-time slogan for potato chips that came in a can, and it seems to also fit Joan Pringle—once we saw her foxy figure, we couldn’t stop looking. The New York City native was a staple on television for over three decades, after making her debut as Shirley Edmonds on the TV series Emergency! in 1973. In 1974, she landed the regular role of Diana Sanger on Ironside, followed by one as Tracy Curtis Taylor on That’s My Mama in 1975. Because her career has mostly been on the little screen, that means opportunities to see more than a bit of skin have been limited—but not missing. As Christella in the film J.D.’s Revenge with Louis Gossett Jr., her top gets popped and we get to see her plump bare breasts. Joan only did a couple of other films: she was Doria in Best Friends (1982) with Burt Reynolds and Goldie Hawn, and Sara in Original Sin (2001) with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie. On television, the actress was cast in ten different TV movies, and appeared in almost 60 different TV series. She played Sybil Buchanan in The White Shadow from 1978-1981, and Ruth Marshall for almost 200 episodes of the show Generations from 1989-1991. A few of her guest-starring roles on primetime include hits like Kojak; The Bionic Woman; Starsky and Hutch; L.A.
