It might seem like fame was a long time coming for the comely cutie Jodie Comer, but maybe that is just to the audiences stateside because she's been racking up credits in the UK since 2008, when she was just 15 yers old! Jodie is a luscious Liverpudlian that is likely best recognized for her Emmy Award winning and Golden Globe nominated turn as the hilariously evil and emotionless master assassin on the hit series Killing Eve, where she took on the role of Villanelle and absolutely ran with it! Back in her early days though, she was racking up credits on the BBC better than any other teenager in the game, with appearances on Doctors, Waterloo Road, and Justice. It was her starring turn in the teenage comedy/drama My Mad Fat Diary that made her a bigger name in the biz and helped land her the breakout role on the mini-series Thirteen. It was her casting as a dead girl in Silent Witness (2012), that brought her our way with a Nude-Comer debut as a girl on the slab at the coroner's office. Not the best circumstances for a Nude-Comer debut, but it counts! She then put out some sultry scenes in the wildly popular period piece The White Princess as the lead, all the while dipping her toes into some bigger film projects like the Morrissey Biopic England Is Mine (2017). Now that she has taken home some brass for her incredible performance on Killing Eve, stealing hearts all over the world with her scary sexy Villanelle, we have a feeling Jodie Comer is going to be stay around for a while and only becoming a bigger name as the days go by!
