Joy Thompson had one hell of a versatile career in the 70s and 80s before calling it quits and moving to Toronto to become an acting teacher. Joy appeared in everything from the slasher classic Prom Night (1980) with Jamie Lee Curtis to the notoriously terrible family film One Magic Christmas (1985) with Mary Steenburgen. She also has a bit of a buried secret in that she had an uncredited role as Cindy in the skin flick Alvin Rides Again (1974), which as far as we can tell doesn't involve singing chipmunks.
