Katharina Thalbach Nude

Born in East Berlin, Katharina Thalbach is one of Germany’s most respected stage actresses, working mostly in Hamburg and Berlin, as well as a prolific performer on both the big screen and little screen. The daughter of successful actress Sabine Thalbach and writer/director Benno Besson, and the mother of Anna Thalbach, a popular German actress, Katharina has been surrounded by talent her whole life. Most known in the US for her role as Wanda in Sophie’s Choice (1982) with Meryl Streep, she has over 145 acting credits in her own country, and has earned nine awards for her talent, including a Lifetime Achievement Honorary Award in 2012 from the German Screen Actors Awards. Wide-eyed and pouty-lipped, she mesmerized as Lisa & ihre Mutter in the film Domino (1982), where she engaged in a black-and-white sex scene that ended with her fully naked form stretched out on the bed, a man cradled between her legs (but not so much that you can’t see the hair triangle). Katharina has also intrigued audiences in the films The Tin Drum (1979) as Maria Matzerath, Lisa Gabler in Angels of Iron (1981), Paradise (1986) as Lotte, Comtesse Hochberg in Kaspar Hauser (1993), Back in Trouble (1997) as Frau Stankowski, Mutter Ehrenreich in Sun Alley (1999), Julie in King of Thieves (2003), Agnieszka Kowalska in Strike (2006), Hanna Lottner in The Moon and Other Lovers (2008), The Plagiator (2013) as Angela Murkel, and I’ve Never Been to New York(2019) as Maria Wartberg.
