King Princess is the stage name of Mikaela Mullaney Strauss, a New York singer-songwriter who got into music thanks to her father, Oliver H. Straus Jr, who was a recording engineer at Mission Sound. She actually moved to Los Angeles after high school to study at the USC Thornton School of Music, but dropped out to pursue her music career full time. King Princess has performed at big fests such as Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Glastonbury, and even on Saturday Night Live, while her songs can be heard on shows like The Morning Show, Lucifer, Hacks, and in films like Bottoms (2023) and Sweethearts (2024). In 2025, she switched gears and made her acting debut in the second season of the Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers, where she got to lock lips with Maisie Richardson-Sellers. If her screen career continues, hopefully she won’t be a stranger to nudity much longer!
