British babe Lara Belmont was born in Oxford and grew up in various towns throughout Southern England. She began acting as a teenager and was discovered while shopping at a flea market where she met a casting agent who was working with Tim Roth on his movie The War Zone (1999). Lara auditioned and got the part, a heavy role for a first timer, but she was up to the skintask and did a nudiful job.
