Since the money was in the form of gifts, it was deemed untaxable and the conviction was overturned. According to IMDb, Leigh returned to the screen in a 1996 episode of Heartbeat. However, Mr. Skin thinks that this is an incorrect credit because the TV series is British and the character that she supposedly played is "David Smethwick." That doesn't seem like the name or gender fit for a former Playboy model. But we digressed instead of talking about Leigh and Lynette's state of undress.
