A Dallas, Texas, native, Maite Schwartz shifted her home base to the east coast to attend and graduate from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2001. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree kicked off her acting career, and Maite made her on-screen debut as a Jewelry Clerk in a 2001 television episode of Thieves.
