Marisa Pare Sexy

We all got into a lather over “Lace” on American Gladiators--especially when Marisa Pare joined fellow gladiator Raye Hollitt (a.k.a. “Zap”) for a Playboy layout. Sadly, Marisa’s kept a low profile since the show ended its syndicated run in 1992. She came back for a fun cameo as herself in a 1997 episode of the sitcom Clueless, but that was her first appearance since her turn as an underground fighter--alongside old showmate Lori “Ice” Fetrick--in a 1993 episode of Lorenzo Lamas’s Renegade series. Fortunately Marisa had already gotten our vines swinging with her 1991 appearance in an episode of French television’s Tarzán series. Those liberated Europeans got to enjoy Pare’s peaks in the episode “Tarzán and the Woman of Steel”, where Marisa erected plenty of Eiffel Towers as a body-builder bringing steroids to the natural jungle.
