Back in the late 70s Marita Ditmar made the leap into showbiz, first seeing how being an actress fitted her. She only wound up appearing in two movies. The first was the cumming of age story Fairy Tales (1979), in which she played an S&M dancer. In this movie, Marita kicks off a dance number, wearing a leather mask and nothing else, flaunting around her boobs, bush, and butt while some other equally naked dancers, as well as some strung up captives, join in on the song. Marita also appeared in the fake porn documentary Auditions (1978). Following these two movie roles she then turned to the music and sound departments for movies, which she worked in until the early 90s. She worked on such films as Watchers (1988), Across the Tracks (1990), and Blue Desert (1991).
