Biography

Marjorie Cameron was an artist, an occultist, an actress and also married to rocket pioneer and fellow occultist Jack Parsons. She was born in Iowa, volunteered for service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and settled in Pasadena after the war. She was so ahead of her time that in Kenneth Anger’s film Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome (1954) she looks like a contemporary freak.
