Ranking the Nudity in Yorgos Lanthimos Films

Yorgos Lanthimos is an exciting director! The Greek director is known for daring plots and his ability to make so many of his actors go nude. As we await his upcoming film Bugonia, which will star one of his favorite nude actresses, Emma Stone, I wanted to give us something to watch in the meantime. Why not watch Lanthimos' best nude scenes? All of his films have hot nude scenes, so it can be hard to know where to start. Join me in these rankings!

8. Kinetta

This 2005 Greek film by Yorgos Lanthimos takes place at a Greek hotel in the off-season and follows three strange people who reenact scenes of a brutal murder that took place in the hotel. As they continue to meticulously reenact these scenes, their personal lives become more of a struggle. This film introduced us to Greek actress Evangelia Randou, who went nude in a sexy scene that showcased her perky pair.

7. The Killing of a Sacred Deer

This uneasy thriller starred Colin Farrell and Barry Keoghan playing a sort of cat-and-mouse game where Barry is intent on upending Colin's idyllic suburban family. Colin's wife in the movie is played by Nicole Kidman. Kidman's character has a kink where she likes to pretend to be a corpse as her husband bangs her. We see her in a lifeless pose as she sprawls nude in bed with her bush and breasts out.

6. The Favourite

This was the film that brought Lanthimos a lot of acclaim and respect, garnering multiple Oscar nominations and a win for Olivia Colman. While Olivia Colman won for playing the ruthless lesbian queen whose long-lasting affair with Rachel Weisz is destroyed by a newcomer in the castle (played by Emma Stone), she did not go nude. Instead, Emma Stone showed her breast for the very first time! We have Lanthimos to thank for her debut nude scene.

5. The Lobster

Lanthimos enjoys working with the same actors numerous times, which is a good sign that he's a great actor to work with. Both Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz starred in this twisted romance that first brought Lanthimos' attention in the Western world. She did not go nude, but Angeliki Papoulia did. She gets banged from behind in an attempt to see if she is, indeed, a match for her mate.

4. Alps

Lanthimos is very equitable when it comes to nudity. Most of his films have nudity from all genders, but this one comes just from the ladies. The bizarre film is about a service called Alps that sends a representative to anyone who has lost a loved one. This representative helps aid in their mourning process. Hey, it's Lanthimos! They're all a little bizarre like this!

Angeliki Papoulia went nude in this, as did Ariane Lebed. Both of them are actresses who have worked with the director multiple times and both of them have gladly gone nude.

3. Dogtooth

Finally, one of his first films might be his most dudity-forward. This Greek film follows three teens who live under the roof of their overprotective father. They aren't allowed to leave until their dog tooth falls out, but the father hires a woman to come over and have sex with his son, who eventually disrupts the control he has over the house.

2. Kinds of Kindness

While not his most popular movie, last summer's Kinds of Kindness was the director's highly anticipated follow-up to Poor Things. It is also dripping with sex from head to toe. I think this is one of his most sexual movies by far! Emma was back in her nude splendor, but she was matched in nude frequency by Margaret Qualley.

Hunter Schafer also starred in the film and went topless in one scene that showed off her top-notch tits.

1. Poor Things

His #1 nude movie is Poor Things, and I have reasons for rating this above Kinds of Kindness. Emma Stone went from a one boob wonder to a nymphomaniac who wants to have sex all the time. She even moves to Paris to join a brothel and work as a classy prostitute. That's why I rate it #1. This portion of the film alone pushed the boundaries of what both the actress and her character in the movie would do for sex.

One thing is for certain: Lanthimos' movies involve increasing nudity and increasing levels of Emma Stone. Will she go nude again in Bugonia? I can't wait to find out!
