Born Reminisce Kioni Mackie (née Smith) in The Bronx, NY, this racy rapper was discovered by rap artist Big Pun and immediately was signed on to fellow rapper Fat Joe’s label as a member of his Terror Squad. She released her debut album in 2006, but was imprisoned for six years after her second album for assault, weapons, and attempted coercion charges related to a shooting at a nightclub. After her release, Remy starred on VH1's reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York, alongside her husband, rapper Papoose (Shamele Mackie) for five years. In addition to appearing as herself on the screen, she’s also had a handful of acting roles, including starring in American Gangster Presents: Big 50 - The Delrhonda Hood Story (2021), a three episode stint won the series Queens (2022), and a lead in the tv movie Girl in the Closet (2023). She made a cameo appearance in the 2023 rom com The Perfect Find, dressed up like a modern Dorothy Dandridge in Carmen for a film shoot featuring her incredibly captivating cleavage.
