Sad news in the skinaverse: Actress Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away at age thirty-nine, possibly due to complications following liver surgery. Though she started her career at a very young age - Gen X and Millennial fans will remember her as Nona Mecklenberg on The Adventures of Pete and Pete (her dad was played by music legend Iggy Pop) and as Harriet the Spy in the 1996 film - Michelle is probably most known for her work on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series and the original run of Gossip Girl.

Once she was old enough, Michelle didn’t waste much time when it came to showing skin. In the 2004 raunchy comedy EuroTrip, audiences got their first look at her grown up curves in a bikini and even donned some daring decolletage. ‘

Michelle continued to keep busy, even reprising the role of Georgina Sparks for the new Gossip Girl series, but none of the work involved nudity. Especially with the recently announced Buffy reboot, there was always a chance we’d get to see her in the buff again, but now, unfortunately, we know we never will.
