The fantastic five foot, eight and a half inch model was born in Lisbon, but wouldn’t become a student of dance until she moved to Toronto, Canada with her family at a young age. When she returned to Portugal as a teen, she continued pursuring the arts but got her degree in communication and journalism from the Autonomous University of Lisbon. Rita became a model and TV host in her early twenties, and would eventually build a career as both a presenter and an actress. She’s most known for her recurring roles on Saber Amar (2003), Morangos com Acucar (2003-2005) and the reboot (2023-2024), Doce Fugitiva (2006-2007), and Meu Amor (2009-2010), which was the first Portuguese telenovela to receive an International Emmy Award. In 2026, she was revealed to be part of the cast of HBO Max’s spicy Portuguese telenovela Dona Beja (aka Madame Beja), but she also revealed her rack for the first time. Now we Dona want to see Rita with clothes on ever again!
