Saoirse-Monica is a real-life Derry Girl who became famous for playing one on television. A trained actress from the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, this Northern Irish beauty made her small screen debut in the 2016 miniseries The Five, followed by stints on Broken, Unprecedented: Real Time Theatre from a State of Isolation, and Urban Myths before expanding to film with her first feature Finding You in 2020. Still a fixture on the stage, with roles in Of Mice and Men (2016) and The Ferryman (2018), Saoirse-Monica landed the main part of Erin Quinn on the UK comedy series Derry Girls in 2018. This would be a big breakthrough role for her, and it wasn’t long after that she was landing roles in big budget Hollywood flicks like the DCEU movie The Flash.
