Born in Slagelse, Denmark, dedicated Gen Xer Sara-Marie Maltha has been working steadily in film and television since her screen debut in 1997. Though she did step behind the camera in 2012 to work as an assistant director and statist coordinator on the biopic Marie Krøyer, Sara-Marie’s focus has been on delivering solid performances in films like 2004’s Return to Sender, 2009’s Applause, 2022’s The Kiss, as well as on television shows such as The Left Wing Game (2009-2010) and The Killing (2012). In 2024, she appeared in the third season of the suspenseful drama series The Head where she and two other lovely ladies take luxurious two-minute showers that are unfortunately only filmed from the shoulders up.
