Dance was Italian actress Sara Serraiocco’s first love. Born and raised in Pescara, Italy, Sara started taking dance classes at a very young age. As she got older, she began teaching dance and thought she would have a career in that world until she moved to Rome, fell in love with cinema, and joined the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia National Film School. She made her acting debut in one episode of the crime drama R.I.S. Roma and followed that up by appearing in the movie Salvo (2013). Salvo helped launch her career. Over then next three years she would appear in eight different movies and land one of the lead roles on the TV show Counterpart. She was awarded the Shooting Star Award for Best European Talent at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival as well as the National Guild of Film Critics award for Best Actress for her part in the movie Worldly Girl (2016).
