Shannon Trosclair is a stand-up actress, in that she’s willing to work as a stand-in actress for another actress, which is just what she did in The Lucky One (2012), a dramatic romance about a Marine in Louisiana after serving three tours in Iraq, who is searching for the woman he believes is his good-luck charm. Some of that good luck must have rubbed off on Shannon, because she was next cast in an onscreen role in The Paperboy (2012). She was uncredited, of course, but baby steps. Anyway, it’s likely if you’ve seen this movie about a reporter who returns to Florida to investigate the case of a death-row inmate, all you’ll remember is her topless scene.
