Shanyn Leigh has spent most of her career working with arthouse director Abel Ferrara and has appeared in his films exclusively, with the exception of a small part in Michael Mann’s Public Enemies (2009). She first acted in Ferrara’s Biblical epic Mary (2005) before going on to do Go Go Tales (2007), Napoli, Napoli, Napoli (2009), and the documentaries Chelsea on the Rocks (2008) and Mulberry St. (2009).
