The soap opera world is known for a lot of tropes: diva slaps, split personalities, bringing people back from the dead, etc… and the big one - recasting roles and carrying on like nothing happened.
The latest example of this is Rebecca Budig, known on the site for appearing in her undies on crime shows CSI and Castle and for her smooth moves and even smoother abs as a contestant on Skating with the Stars. Rebecca is taking over the role of Dr. Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful, a part that had been played by Krista Allen since 2021.
