Daughter of The Tudors actor Simon Ward, British beauty and skin favorite Sophie Ward is best known as Dr. Helen Trent in the UK comedy-drama Heartbeat. But over the course of her impressive career, Sophie has also appeared in some remarkable genre films. She has had parts in the lesbian vampire movie The Hunger (1983), the kiddie cult classic Return to Oz (1985), the horror sequel Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992), and perhaps most revealingly in the sinful and skin-ful thriller Chiller (1995).
