For October, I want to highlight underrated horror movies with skintastic nudity. I am watching so many horror movies this month, so I am thrilled to share these skintastic gems with you. Today's underrated horror movie is a recent flick from South of the Border featuring sex, breasts, and lesbians to relieve us from all of the horror. Today's film is Huesera: The Bone Woman.
This Mexican horror film has some seriously scary visuals. Our leading lady sees visions of people with broken bones who crawl around and haunt her wherever she goes. The bone people scurry around like spiders, and they have blurred-out or blacked-out faces. It is really scary! Despite how scary those moments are, the film also dedicates a significant amount of time to telling the story of one woman's inner conflict with her upcoming motherhood.
Natalia Solian plays Valeria, a young woman who has always wanted to become a mother. She becomes pregnant after trying for years with her preppy, upper-middle-class husband. She thinks that this will finally complete her and make her feel great happiness. Instead, it overtakes her with dread, and she begins to suspect she is possessed by something. But what? Surely, it's not the baby. So then what is it?
I'll go ahead and let you know that she is not possessed by a demon baby, but whatever is ailing her does seem like it will put her baby in danger. When making her baby's room up and fixing her a crib, she becomes convinced that she sees some kind of spider-bone-figure crawling around the baby's things. The next thing we know, the crib is on fire! Whoops.
The husband is really concerned, but he is fed up when his wife gets re-acquainted with her ex. It's always the ex, right? Valeria's ex is a woman, a punk-rock activist chick played by Mayra Batalla. She goes to Mayra for comfort a few times, including one occasion that ends in passionate sex between the two.
Valeria seeks help from some local Mexican witches who detect demonic forces trying to overtake Valeria. They do an intense ritual to save her soul, and the ritual features all of those weird spider creatures having a giant orgy together. If watching monstrous creatures bang each other is your thing, then the ending of this film is going to delight you!
So does the ritual work? I'm not going to spoil it for you. It is a really cool folk horror film delving into fears surrounding pregnancy and the identity of motherhood. But beyond all of that, there are tits. Natalia Solian shows her suck sacks and prosthetic belly when she lies in the bathtub to let her wet jug soak. Between that and her sex scenes, Natalia is working hard to get us hard!
