Holy smoke, Batman! Yvonne Craig is one hottie! Before gaining fame as a curvaceous caped crusader, the busty brunette studied ballet in middle America. Yet the appealing ingenue soon picked up acting and headed for Hollywood where she landed guest spots on small screen series like Schlitz Playhouse, Perry Mason, Bronco, I'm Dickens, He's Fenster, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, Sam Benedict, and 77 Sunset Strip. The busy babe also made it on the big screen, appearing in the Elvis Presley musicals It Happened at the World’s Fair (1963) and Kissin’ Cousins (1964), as well as in the parody spy flick In Like Flint (1967). But she’s best known and beloved as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on ABC’s pop culture hit Batman. During the show’s run, the crime-fighting fox donned a skintight suit while her alter ego showed up in sexy swimwear! To seal her legendary boob-tube status, Yvonne played an alien slave girl on the camp classic Star Trek. The revealing role showcased her scantily-clad dancer’s body which was covered in green paint! Ms. Craig continued to pop up on programs from Love, American Style to The Partners to Emergency! Yet she returned to her Batgirl persona when making a public service announcement for equal pay for women in 1974.
