Yvonne Ross had to fight for her life to make it in this business we call show. That’s how she got cast in the movie, Fight for Your Life (1977), a crime drama that is trashy exploitation at its violent best. Some jail birds hide out in a minister’s house and brutalize his family, but the minister turns the other cheek, which is vengeance, and revenges his family’s abuse. Yvonne is one of the abused, getting mam-handled by one of the baddies. She ventured to the safer environs of the boob tube for a guest appearance on the TV series Cover Me: Based on the True Files of an FBI Family. That was in 2000. Hopefully, she’s getting her groove back.
