Fright-film icon Vincent Price stars as Lord Edward Whitman in the seventeenth-century-set spooker Cry of the Banshee (1970). The story begins with the Dark Lord slaughtering a coven of witches and thereby bringing the supernatural wrath of their leader, Oona (Elisabeth Bergner), down upon himself, his family, and his denizens.
