Kika (2025)

We follow the title character, played by Manon Clavel, going through life in Brussels as a social worker and mother to young Louison (Suzanna Elbaz) until a chance meeting with repairman David (Makita Samba) in a bike shop changes her life forever. The two start a secret affair and Kika becomes pregnant, but just as it looks like they might get their happy ending, David unexpectedly dies. Mounting financial pressure causes Kika to forgo social assisstance, instead opting sell her used underwear for some quick cash. This step leads her down a seedy path that introduces her to dominatrix work under the tutelage of a seasoned professional. The film marks writer-director Alexe Poukine’s feature debut, but it also is the nudecomer debut of star Manon. Her left breast makes its very first appearance when she’s laying post-coital with Makita. Her naked bod in bed will have you saying “Manon-a-mia!”
