Marilyn Solaya is a director and actress. She’s probably best known for Hasta que la muerte nos separe (2001). And as a director she’s known for her documentaries, such as Mírame mi amor (2002) and Alegrías (1999). But we have a hard spot in our pants for her acting, especially her debut Strawberry & Chocolate (1993), the Oscar-nominated film that tells the story of two men who are opposites, one gay and the other straight, one communist and the other a fierce individual, and how they come to love one another.
