Merrin Dungey began her performance arts career when she took ballet lessons at the age of four. As a teenager she was already acting in commercials and even hosted a local talk show in Sacramento, California. After high school Merrin attended and graduated from UCLA and then developed a one-woman show called "Black Like Who?" This led to guest appearances on Martin, Living Single, ER, Babylon 5, and Seinfeld, which led to recurring roles on Party Girl, The King of Queens, Malcolm in the Middle, Alias, and Better Off Ted. And that, in turn, let to a bra-busting guest starring vehicle on HBO's Hung, where we finally got to see this black beauty in her boob-bouncing, butt-tastic glory. Mr. Skin was hung after watching this scene, which contains the only nudity of Merrin's career. But you can catch this dressed dark-haired damsel looking delicious in Betrayal, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Chasing Life, Once Upon a Time, Conviction, Big Little Lies, The Resident, The Fix, and other series in which she has enjoyed extended roles. She can also be seen on the big screen. Had Merrin been in the audience, she would have caught us mirin' her in Deep Impact (1998), EDtv (1999), The Sky Is Falling (2001), Life Happens (2011), Some Kind of Beautiful (2014), The Diabolical (2015), and Greenland (2020).
