Rumours (2024)

The only thing more fragile than democracy are the egos of those running said democracies. Rumours (2024), from Canadian filmmakers Guy Maddin and Evan and Galen Johnson, takes place at the G7 summit in the not-too-distant future, where the leaders of seven global democracies have come together to address an unnamed international crisis. Cate Blanchett, Charles Dance, Alicia Vikander, and more international superstars play the world leaders who, in a metaphor for the future of democracy, get lost in the woods while venturing out to craft a statement on the crisis. 

Naturally, passions are ignited as verbal tirades are launched by the various leaders against one another, but there's also that kinky brand of global diplomacy at play! Cate Blanchett's German Chancellor gets it on in the woods with Roy Dupuis' Canadian PM, but we sadly only see the aftermath, as Cate sits up with her blouse unbuttoned and some impressive cleavage on display! Rumour has it you're about to bust a nut!
