Sem Break (2025)

Much like similar Filipino films that take place in other countries like 2025’s Tokyo Nights, Sem Break brings the action to Vietnam, where vacationing friends Hannah (Christine Bermas), Aria (Jenn Rosa), and Ysa (Rica Gonzales) are having a blast, indulging in drugs, alcohol, and sex in the cases of Hannah, who hooks up with Julian (Itan Rosales), and Aria, who gets it on with Owen (Mon Mendoza). But their good time comes to a screeching halt when someone winds up dead. Uh-oh! Owen especially doesn’t want to go to the police because all that hard partying may make it seem like they are to blame, but if there’s a killer on the loose then they are all in serious danger. Oh, what to do? Probably have more graphic sex. It is a VMX production after all.
