It’s March of 2020 and Inma (Aleida Torrent Casellas) is having dinner with her husband Jairo (David Marcé) when he suddenly dies. Because of the pandemic raging outside, straining the resources of hospitals and overflowing funeral homes, Inma is told the body has to remain in the house, wrapped up and isolated for forty-eight hours until it can be removed. After the initial shock wears off, Inma is faced with the reality of Jairo’s abusiveness, and how his overbearing presence is felt in even in death. Keep your eyes peeled for the scene where Aleida takes a shower, when the camera catches sight of her shoulder boulders through the door slats. Her hubby’s corpse won’t be the only stiff thing around!
