The Chronology of Water (2025)

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart makes her debut as a writer/director with this 2025 adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir of the same name, and casts Imogen Poots as the author, who we see being abused as a teen by her father (Michael Epp) when the older sister (Thora Birch) he normally molests runs away from home. Lidia tries to turn her life around by becoming a competitive swimmer and getting a scholarship to college, but her dependence on drinking and drugs tanks that dream. She then shifts her focus to writing and gets the chance to work on a collaborative novel with with author Ken Kesey (James Belushi), and eventually learns to deal with her past trauma through storytelling. Imogen adds another nude role to her roster, going tits out in the pool and delivering full frontal for the first time during a shower scene. She isn’t the only one all lathered up!
