Yoh! Bestie (2026)

Forever unlucky in love, Thando (Katlego Lebogang) is a thirty-something singleton who’s best friend Charles suddenly gets engaged to a forty-year-old divorcee (Fikile Mthwalo) and plans to move to New York. Thando is sad to have to let go of Charles, or is it actually jealousy Thando is feeling because she has feelings for Charles? Perhaps that’s really why she’s doesn’t want him to get married, rather than because she feels protective of him and doesn’t want to see him get his heart broken. This South African rom com is light on nudity, save for a skinny dipping scene where Moliehi Didie Makobane flashes her naked buns while running into the ocean. We have to say we were hoping for a little more breastie in Yoh! Bestie!
